I tried to bring it up with some Facebook friends of mine but it didn't go nowhere so I figure maybe y'all might have some favorites. The premise of this list is if you have a favorite song that's either hadn't been played on the radio in a long time or that it might have a cult following:

So in the 90's most people went for NSync or Backstreet Boys, but when I was a kid my money went to this duo and this song due to how dark it was: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiGL0MaVcU4

Because this is a new forum, I want to make sure I bring over some of the rules from the old forum to here, namely, the rule that discussions about Politics and Religion are strictly forbidden here.

I know most of you are already familiar with this rule on InDeath.net, but if you are not, please know that I have this rule here to preserve forum harmony, and so far, it has worked pretty well.

There are many places on the internet, including Facebook, where you can discuss those things with others. I would like this forum, like the last forum, to be Politics and Religion free.

Thank You for Understanding.

AJ

In what book does the character Master Lu appear?

We've got less than 40 days until the release of the next "In Death" Book: "Secrets in Death!"

And the Countdown Clock is Back!!

Thumbup

For those that don't know or may have forgotten, Nora and Laura will do a Facebook Live chat in preparation for Secrets. I think it's gonna run at 5 or 6 Central my time. I imagine the questions will be pre-selected in advance and the window may be closed on that front. But I plan to catch it because the questions might be interesting.

If y'all want to catch it, it will be broadcasted in JD Robb's Facebook page, cya there.

Where is the chicken stick?  Is it on the door, like a current day handle?  Is it sticking up from the floor on the passenger side?  Where do you think it is?

I see Margot Robbie as playing  Mavis Freestone.

I'm looking at the characters page, and I'm noticing that there seem to be a number of people missing.  Are there some guidelines regarding what characters are "in" and which ones are "out" for this page?

Doing a search, I find that most of the ones I've missed so far are listed here, but there are no corresponding character pages.  And poor Diana the flight attendant (Naked In Death, page 43) is omitted altogether.

What's more, that characters wiki page has an entry for Eve, Roarke, Peabody, even Francois, but not Nadine?

And while I'm asking, why are "Eve's History," "Eve's Illegal Activities," and "Eve's Laws" listed as characters?

I could just start mucking about, but I thought I'd check first to see if there was a plan.

Last week, Sarah from smartbitchestrashybooks.com interviewed Kecia Ali about her book Human in Death: Morality and Mortality in J. D. Robb's Novels . The book is an academic analysis of the series.

The podcast is on itunes.  More info and a transcript here

The podcast is really interesting and brings up some things that need to be brought up.  I really want to read the book but I'll save up a bit.  I hate how expensive academic works are.  Anyone here read the book?

Hey, everyone!

Here's a quick tutorial on adding a new page, since the process is slightly different than editing a page:

First, click on the icon for adding a new page at the top of the wiki page:

Now, name your page. In this case, we're adding the "List of Repetitive Names"

Now add your text. You can add as much or as little as you would like, or just put some text to use as a placeholder, if you don't have any text at the moment.

That's it! Save the page, and you are done!
